  I love St.Andrews and the history behind this hotel. Lovely staff!

  The renovation was cheap and cheerful. Rooms are poorly designed, especially the bathrooms. several physical issues with the room that disrupted sleep etc. At $239 the experience was not on par. In my opinion they could charge more if they could offer a better product. :)

  Bell staff very professional and helpful. Room was excellent, large and comfortable.

  Restaurant was understaffed and service took much to long. Room service did not pick up during both mornings we were there.

  The service was excellent with out being intrusive. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Great views! The veranda made us feel as though we had stepped back in to an age of luxury, perfect relaxation.

  Beautiful building. Have stayed there a number of times, and had no complaints the other times. Staff at Front Desk very warm and helpful. Food excellent. Felt other years there were management staff more present, keeping an eye on things.

  Waiter, Cody, of the Braxton Patio was very inattentive. Had to ask for water, another glass of wine a few times each. Had to ask three times for the crayons for my granddaughter to colour the menu while we waited. Our lunch was very late in arriving. Complimentary dessert for the long wait, but had to wait a long time for it as well. His attitude needs improvement. Housekeeper did not pick up the dirty glasses after our first night. Did not leave us clean glasses, nor coffee pods, cups. Had to call Housekeeping to replace.

  the check in was poor, the bed was not made after our first night, the housekeeping was poor, the swimming pool was taken out of service mid season for maintenance very poor planning finally my bill was incorrect

  We were really impressed with the hotel two years ago when we had a cosy room with a balcony and two double beds. This year happy to get a room.

  We were a bit disappointed the room we booked wasn't in the main building with a balcony like our first visit.

  Serene environment, lovely view. Excellent service in dining room. Food there above par but not outstanding

  Notch the cuisine up a bit- Halibut was dry
